by Aljawhrah Aljaji and Afnan Alsharif

How do you eat or buy healthy food when you are overwhelmed with studying?

In Moscow there are lots of different choices. However, two popular supermarkets that offer different products suitable for everyone's needs are The Moscow Food Co-op and WinCo, the 24- hour well-known supermarket.

Working together to nourish and nurture the Moscow community is what The Moscow Food Co op believes in. Through providing healthy food, they have created a healthier planet and a stronger healthier community. The Moscow Food Co-op is well known for selling organic food, such as fruits, vegetables, meat and mostly every thing in the store. They sell natural and untreated food which makes the choice and quality of vegetables and meat high and healthier.

The price of their healthier food will increase because of its good quality. However. this increase is not too much, the different vary from $3 to 6 for each product, more than other places.

Moscow is considered a a university town, where thousands of students international and Moscow natives prefer to buy from cheaper supermarkets. Shoppers who are focused on low price will prefer to get their groceries from WinCo. It is well known for low prices and for being open 24 hours. It also contains lots of products and choice due to its large size.

Yet, the quality of food might be less than other markets as The Moscow Food Co op.  If people like to buy organic groceries, The Moscow Food Co op is a great choice, and a place if not concerned with price. In contrast, WinCo has a good offers for groceries with lower prices and to save money.
